MFs who make this project

Can’t say it enough.
Alone, I am only one self-doubtful human with a sometimes-wonky brain and many technical shortcomings.

This project exists thanks to the helping hands and healing insights of Fuckers who offer their expertise & energy to the crew
… and their personal/project support to yers truly.

Meet some of the Muffs who have been crucial to the cause.
Connect with them through the Discord server, MF Speaks episodes, IG, and Patreon postings to offer thanks and bask in their wisdom.

Incanthatus

Community leader and podcast “co-host” at this fckn point… Inca has been irreplacably invaluable to the entire project thanks to their insight, empathy, and advice since their first Spotify audio submission. They’ve only become a greater guide and trauma advocate ever since. They regularly contribute MFs Speaks episodes and serve as a remarkably wise mentor to the Discord community. Not to mention, offering understanding and advisement to yers truly. Incanthatus is a real-experience expert on DID, alters, sexuality, gender identity, and art therapy, to name a few. Follow along with Inca’s stories of progress, healing relationships, and purposeful life redesign through the private podcast and Discord community. And be sure to check out their newest venture as it unfolds: becoming a certified art therapy coach for trauma survivors. Follow their art therapy journey and join up with the venture here!

Kyle is another ridiculously impressive MF who inspires #gratitude from everyone who encounters his words and work. He’s an insightful contributor to the podcast with ever-growing expertise on Internal Family Systems and healing subconscious wounds. With his data organization and technology background, he also contributes heavily to behind-the-scenes efforts that make my brain spin. In fact, this website exists thanks entirely to his dedicated effort, leadership, and calm, cool, collected energy; my brain would have imploded without his captaining. These days, Kyle is also growing his knowledge database through IFS coursework, and contemplating becoming a Certified Practitioner to lend additional help to MFs everywhere. He’s an amazing person to call a friend and a source of Self-energy when any of us fall into parts.

Leanne

Talk about regular podcast guests… when an episode begins “Hey Fuckers, it’s you-know-who from Australia,” there’s no question who we’re hearing from. It’s Leanne, recording her wise reflections on relationships, TWWRH (the woman who raised her), and compassionate parts healing work! Leanne is not only an OG MF who’s been supporting the project, my brain, and the community for years… but also a devoted student/teacher of Buddhism and Martial Arts, and solo world-traveller. Her honest reflections on subconscious parts, psychonoxious relationships, and parenting as a TMFR are grounded in advanced Self-education and soulful insight. When it comes to care and compassion, self-exploration, and pinpointing old trauma patterns, Leanne is a force to be reckoned with. On a personal note, she’s a driving force behind my resilience and sense of safety in doing this project; a formidable mamabear of the whole community.

Black is the badass behind Discord server community efforts, organization, and development. What would the server look like without them? I have honestly no gotdamnfucking idea. Since joining us, Black has overhauled everything; continually assessed the needs of the community, and adapting the Discord to be the safest and most inclusive place possible. Besides all that, they’re a fantastic recovery friend to have. When I’ve got a self-expression doubt or asking-for-help hangup? Black is there, encouraging me to cut my own shit and speak up. They’re a crucial comrade for all of us, loving/healing partner to Incanthatus, and tech-savvy MF who overcomes our many recovery community obstacles.

Shelby

Some Fuckers really make a splash when they jump in to the project. Shelby is one of those Muffs who’s introduction I’ll never forget. From day one, Shelby has been a valuable source of information, additional resources, and friendship for all of us. She challenges my role as king-brain-nerd around here – continually providing further information and insight on seemingly every topic we cover, and then some. Shelby contributes excellent episodes on nonviolent communication, compassionate self-care, and beyond. On top of all that, she’s a trustworthy friend to have in my disclosure corner. In her “real life” Shelby has dedicated herself to social work, mental health outreach, and higher learning. She’s currently working in a home for disadvantaged adults, where she’s skyrocketed to advanced positions thanks to her groundedness, knowledge, and compassionate social skills.

The community wouldn’t be a “recovery safe” place without the dedicated volunteers who keep it rolling, day after day. Their welcome messages, conversation contributions, advice, feedback, reflection exercises, and guardianship keep everyone engaged and progressing forwards. They assist with technical details, monitoring community interactions, sorting out conflicts with healthy resolutions, and developing the server on a continual basis. While they can’t be everywhere-allthetime-allatonce, they sure do a damn good job of fulfilling the impossible. At the same time, they model healthy relationships and healing for all of us… and provide feedback when this MF needs a kick in the pants to try things outside my self-limiting beliefs. Hats off to the Server Staff and Mentors who hold the community to high standards and tackle challenges as a cooperative crowd. Y’all make the community what it is.

How do you say… I started losing my mind, Winter 2022, and needed some supportive social reminders that I wasn’t completely alone in this whole project effort. That’s when the “Next Evolution” sideproject was started – a micro community for TMFR supernerds where I shared the RL nuances of recovering while completely overwhelmed, isolated, and financially fucked. AKA my own struggles from behind the scenes. These Fuckers jumped in, heard out my “daily drops,” offered advice whenever needed, helped me to process my recent family of origin apocalypse, and generally confirmed that I was still a human being worthy of friendship and care. They empowered me to keep going, when I was very ready to throw some towels. Not to mention, they’re tried-and-true community stans, across all platforms. They often comment on posts and share their wealth of knowledge with everyone – not just this guy. Praise be for these Fuckers. we’re all #blessed to know them.

Bit of a “catchall” category here, but I’d be a fool not to mention the folks who’ve provided assorted support throughout the past 3 years. These are the people who found the project early, saw something in it, made me feel worthwhile as a human with something to offer, and started drafting the community with me. They’re partners in ongoing conversations conducted for years now. Generous benefactors of time, energy, and practical resources. My fake replacement family members, and real friends. It would be impossible to list all the ways they’ve supported this brain while it figured out what the fuck it was doing building a trauma recovery project… so let’s just say none of this would be here without them. Y’all the original TMFRs and important people I’ll never forget.

You know what’s difficult? Sitting down, recording your words, hearing your own gd voice, and bravely sending that permanent product of your trauma into the internet ethers for an unknown crowd to digest. And that’s exactly what you Fuckers have done. Part of the “Community Healing” effort is releasing recordings courageously submitted from real, relatable, people around the world. Their submissions have made this podcast more than “just some asshole talking about research all the time” (me). They’ve added their own experience, education, application, and validation to the ongoing conversation, which has been foundational to the group-recovery we’ve all capitalized on. Standing ovations to you all.

To say “this is an impossible career for me on paper” is a massive understatement. This project? Has never been “a smart choice” from a practical standpoint. You may remember the days of in a tent to keep it rolling. (I definitely do). Well, I’m still alive and TMFRs is too, But it’s 100% because of the financial support offered by generous Fuckers around the globe. Patreon pays for me to eat. Paypal and Kofi contribute to keeping the lights on. Gofundme campaigns got answers for Archie, supported his final tour de life, and recently replaced my computer. Every single cent is a weight off my poverty-traumatized brain and additional effort I can put into the MF project instead of working a heartless job. I can’t express my shock and awe that anyone thinks I’m worth the dollars, and some Muffs sincerely go above and beyond to keep this operational. THANK YOU to every single Fucker out there who’s supported this leap of faith towards “fulfilling my purpose” and spreading healing information to the world. YOU’VE done this as much as I have.
